The Heavy Design service provides an extensive and customized approach to space transformation over a 4-16 week period, expanding on the Lite Design package by incorporating more detailed design and construction elements. This offering is designed for clients seeking a comprehensive solution, including both aesthetic and structural modifications. Services under this package may include:

• Wall Framing/Reframing: Simple framing or reframing to modify layout
  
  
• Advanced Drywall Work: More complex drywall tasks, such as smoothing and patching
  
  
• Light Plumbing: For projects such as vanity swaps or similar updates
  
  
• Small-Scale Tiling: For backsplash installations (not applicable to larger tiling projects like tub surrounds or flooring)
  
  
• Cabinet Additions: New cabinetry installations (no demolition or removal)
  
  
• Cabinet Refinishing: Painting or staining of existing and new cabinets
  
  
• Cabinet Hardware Updates: Including puttying and changing hardware
  
  
• Surface Preparation: Extensive preparation, such as smoothing, patching, and painting or wallpapering surfaces
  
  

The scope of this service is flexible and tailored to the client’s needs, with additional tasks determined at the discretion of the DTD team. However, the service does not encompass flooring changes, appliance swaps, or extensive electrical work beyond the scope outlined. All third-party contractor fees, such as those for painting or electrical services, are the responsibility of the client. Additionally, the client is required to purchase all materials needed for the project.

This service also includes the creation of design renders and offers the option to select either Lite or Heavy Organization after installation.
