The DTD team offers virtual design services over a two-week period, providing assistance on a per-space basis, meaning it does not cover multiple spaces within a single project.
The service includes a virtual intake and pre-planning session, during which the client is responsible for completing the measurements of the space. The client will also receive two additional support calls or syncs throughout the process. The team will assess the layout and make necessary adjustments, while offering suggestions to help create a space that integrates form, functionality, and aesthetics. Significant client involvement is required during this process.
A custom design plan will be created, which serves as a collaborative document that evolves throughout the project. This plan includes details such as paint colors, supply links, photos, and descriptions of any upcycled items used in the design. A design rendering will also be provided; however, it should be noted that this rendering is not to scale but is instead based on the general length and width of the room, such as a 12 x 8 or 8 x 9 room, for example.
Optional add-ons include a text thread with the DTD team for ongoing, real-time support during the project, and assistance with Facebook Marketplace searches. Additionally, clients can opt for an in-person intake and pre-planning visit, which includes measurements taken by the DTD team. Pricing for this visit varies depending on location and requires a travel stipend.
